USE & CARE
Before you start cooking the handi, fill the pan with water or buttermilk for 2 days, which gives the pan better strength. You can serve that water or buttermilk with the meal. When you cook first keep the gas in slow moment.
After you wash do not straight way put the handi on the stove. allow it to dry for a while.
while you wash, soak the cooker in boiled water for about an hour to retain its strength and then use sponge to clear stains.
it is advised to check the lid is properly tight before use.
After emptying handi , please fill it with water and keep the water standing in it, for 10 minutes. Use soft brush to clean it.
Soak the Handi into normal water for 48 hours and allow drying for 24 hours to increase the durability.
Increase temperature gradually from 0 to desired setting — maximum heat Setting on Stove Top is medium heat (5, on a scale of 0-9). Maximum heat setting in the Oven is 450 degrees. There is no need to increase heat to beyond 5 on the stove top because of the high amount of heat the pure-clay pot can retain inside its walls.
It is easy to clean! Just use hot water and a gentle non-abrasive cleaning pad.
Do not use metallic scouring pads.
Do not clean earthenware with a Soap or detergent.
Do not clean your earthen cookware in dishwasher.
Store your pot only after it is thoroughly dry.
